About Me
How this all started
In 1986 I was a student at UCSD in La Jolla, studying, waiting tables, and big dreams of becoming a Doctor. Then fate stepped in and changed everything! I started working as a Travel Agent for a friend of my mom's in La Jolla. I was hooked and have never looked back. I have been lucky enough to find a career that I love, and has allowed me to travel the world, while also advising and planning amazing escapes for my clients. About ten years ago I discoverd Costa Rica and love helping others explore this amazing country. I go back at least once per year and have developed an expertise and specialization in this region, as well as cultivated contacts that allow me to plan adventures for my clients.
My Home Base
Yes, living the dream as they say! About 6 years ago I discovered I was truly a Nomad and loved wandering as I saw fit. I purchased a Motorhome and I spend part of the year wandering the USA and part of the year traveling the world, including at least one annual visit to Costa Rica. I am still regularly traveling in my Motorhome and Mobile Office, nicknamed #mobi.
All of my Travel Advisors now work from home, and are spread across the USA. Technology has allowed me to build a team of passionate people, regardless of their location. We are all remote workers and travelers. Living our best lives and sharing the world with our clients!
Destinations
Yes, Costa Rica is my favorite escape, but there are many amazing places in the world, and here are a few of my go to spots!
Costa Rica, for that Pura Vida lifestyle, amazing flaura and fauna, friendly people and adventures galore.
Belize, for the jungles, beautiful resorts, and a diving paradise.
Croatia, for island hopping, seafood and stark, beautiful landscapes.
Malta, for the history, close knit community and the Blue Grotto!
