This itinerary stars with one night at The Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfalls.  This is a funky, but extremely interesting spot for your first night in Costa Rica and only an hour from the airport in San Jose.  I first wandered across this place while looking for some hiking at the falls and then ended up booking a room on the spot and spending the night.  The accommodations are all comfortable and unique - think of Flinstones meet Walt Disney!  Surrounded by beautiful gardens, multiple waterfalls, and an amazing Wildlife Refuge where you can experience wildlife up close.  See the jungle cats, multiple breeds of monkeys, sloth, a butterfly garden, a hummingbird pavilion and much more.  It is a delightful introduction to Costa Rica.

From here it is off to Tabacon Thermal Resort and it's accompanying Hot Springs and Spa.  There are many activities available in this area, or simply relax, and enjoy the company, relax in the Hot Springs or partake in the many treatments and programs at the Spa.

Next it is off to the Pacific Coast for five nights or Luxury at El Mangroove Boutique Hotel, Westin Playa Conchal or the JW Marriott Guanacaste depending on what you are looking for in your romantic escape.  There are also many relaxing and rejuvenation activities available in this region, as well as more active pursuits if that is what you prefer.

Day by Day:

• Day 1: Arrive at the San Jose International Airport and transfer to the Peace Lodge at La Paz Waterfall Gardens.. Overnight
• Day 2: Enjoy the morning exploring the Gardens and anything you may have missed upon arrival then head off to the Arenal Volcano.
• Day 3: Private Transfers to Tabacon Thermal Resort and Spa for three nights of pampering. Overnight.
• Day 4: Day at leisure or booked tours.. Overnight.
• Day 5: Day at leisure or booked tours.. Overnight.
• Day 6: Private transfer to the Papagayo region. Overnight at El Mangroove Hotel, Westin Playa Conchal or The JW Marriott Guanacaste.
• Day 7: Full day of leisure or booked activities. Overnight.
• Day 8: Full day of leisure or booked activities. Overnight.
• Day 9: Full day of leisure or booked activities. Overnight.
• Day 10: Full day of leisure or booked activities. Overnight.
• Day 11: Private Transfers to the airport and return home.
